Brr... breathtaking fun!

No doubt about it, one of the best ways to experience Reading & Berks County is outside - even in the winter. Beautiful rolling hills, valleys, and waterways set the stage for outstanding year-round adventures like biking, and hiking. When it snows, head to our parks to cross-country ski and snowshoe, or to nearby resorts for downhill skiing, snowboarding, and snow-tubing fun. Following a day of outdoor fun, there's no better place to warm-up and share your adventure stories than our eateries, pubs, and wine bars. Colder weather means cooler experiences in Berks County.

Love the arts? You'll feel right at home in Reading & Berks County. In addition to our galleries, art centers, museums, and fabulous public art displays, enjoy a wonderful array of concerts, comedy shows, and theatrical productions. Take a class at the GoggleWorks Center for the Arts, or relax to the traditional sounds of our 150-year-old Reading Symphony Orchestra. Before you know it, the soulful melodies of our annual Berks Jazz Fest will signify that winter is over, and spring is on the way.
